February 2 According to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, a mass infection broke out in a meat factory in Toronto, Canada, and 78 people tested positive for COVID-19.

Of the 78 confirmed cases, two were infected with the variant novel coronavirus (B117) found in the United Kingdom.

A spokesman for the meat factory said in a statement that employees who tested positive need to be quarantined for 14 days and tested for symptoms.
