At about 21:30 local time on August 22, a gun-to-gun hijacking occurred on bus No. 8 in Bangkok, Thailand. A young man, after arriving at the terminal in his car, suddenly pulled out his gun and threatened the driver to turn around and drive back.

The driver and conductor fled the vehicle and called the police, who immediately rushed to the scene to confront the gunman. As of 1 a.m., the negotiations had not worked. At 2 a.m., the man’s mother arrived at the scene to persuade him to surrender her weapon, and police took control of the man.

It is reported that after a preliminary account, the man said that the above behavior was made because of the epidemic period of unemployment for nearly 5 months of mental stress is too great.
