A gas leak at a restaurant in eastern Saudi Arabia has killed one person and injured seven others

An explosion at a restaurant in the eastern Saudi city of Khubair killed one person and injured seven others on the morning of the 13th local time. Preliminary findings released by the local civil defense department showed that the explosion was caused by a gas leak in the restaurant, and the injured have been taken to hospital for treatment.
