A former Texas police officer has been arrested on suspicion of shooting an acquaintance

Stephen Roderick, a former police officer in Travis County, Texas, was arrested at 7:30 a.m. on April 19 on suspicion of shooting three acquaintances on a rural highway in suburban Austin.

Roderick, 41, was reportedly armed with a handgun when he was arrested, but did not resist. Roderick is suspected of shooting dead two women and a man on April 18, local time.
