A FedEx spokesman said the Indiana shooting suspect was a former employee of his company

The suspect in the mass shooting in Indianapolis, Indiana, was a former FedEx employee, according to Jim Masilak, a FedEx spokesman, CNN reported on April 16. He declined to name the suspect and said further questions about the perpetrators could be directed to the Indianapolis Police Department.

According to local police, the suspect killed himself after shooting eight people and wounding several others on the evening of the 15th.
