A cargo ship caught fire off the coast of Hiroshima, Japan. Two people on board lost contact.

According to Japanese Fuji TV, on the morning of the 7th, local time, near the coast of the town of Osaki Ueshima, Hiroshima, Japan, a cargo ship “Fukui Maru” caught fire. As of 11.30 a.m. local time, patrol boats and fire boats of the Maritime Security Department were still fighting fires.

It is reported that there were two men on the cargo ship at the time of the accident. The Maritime Security Department is confirming their safety, but has not yet contacted them.
