A Car Bomb Attack In Southern Afghanistan Killed 14 People include Attacker
November 9th Afghan government official confirmed on the 9th that a car bomb attack occurred on the 8th in Kandahar Province, southern Afghanistan, killing 14 people including one attacker.
Afghan Bakhta News Agency quoted Kandahar Police Department spokesperson Jamal Barakzai as saying that a car bomb attack occurred near the police station in Maywand district of the province on the evening of the 8th, causing civilians and police casualties.
The attackers were also on the spot and died.
Ashraf Nadiri, head of the Public Health Department of Kandahar Province, told reporters that 13 civilians and policemen and one attacker were killed in the explosion, and 49 people were injured.
However, he did not disclose the specific number of civilian casualties.
No organization or individual has announced the cause of this attack.
The negotiations between the Afghan government and the Taliban started in Qatar on September 12.
The two sides are working hard to find a political solution to the current situation in Afghanistan
But the Taliban’s attacks on the Afghan security forces have not stopped.
