According to the latest epidemic situation, the government has set the next level for various places, and most areas are set at level 2 or above: London and Liverpool city areas will enter level 2; Bristol, Birmingham, Greater Manchestershire and other places will enter level 3.
The government also plans to regularly evaluate the epidemic situation in various places in order to adjust the prevention and control levels in different places in time according to the latest epidemic developments.
The UK Health Secretary Matthew Hancock said that places that are about to enter level 3 will face stricter prevention and control measures, which will be difficult times for the local people, but the government will help by implementing community virus testing and providing additional funds.
According to the data released by the British government on the 26th, there are 17,555 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country, with a total of 1,575,562 confirmed cases.
