Jerusalem, November 23 Israel Airlines announced on the 23rd that it will open regular passenger flights to the United Arab Emirates from December 13.
On the same day, Air Israel issued a statement saying that it will open direct passenger flights from Ben-Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, to Dubai International Airport, United Arab Emirates, from December 13, including three flights each Sunday and Thursday, and two flights each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The flight will be operated by Boeing 737-900 and 787 Dreamliners.
Israel signed an agreement on normalizing relations with the United Arab Emirates on September 15. The UAE delegation visited Israel on October 20, and the two sides reached a number of agreements, including the opening of regular passenger and cargo flights and allowing the other party’s citizens to enter visa-free.
