November 21 Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of US President Donald Trump, and White House adviser Andrew Giuliani have been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus and have self-quarantined.
A spokesman for Trump Jr. said on the 20th that Trump Jr. was tested positive at the beginning of the week and then began to self-quarantine. He has so far no symptoms and is following all the guidelines for epidemic prevention.”

Andrew is the son of Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal lawyer. Andrew tweeted on social media on the 20th, confirming that he was infected with the novel coronavirus. He described himself as having “mild” symptoms and was following guidelines for epidemic prevention, including self-isolation and being investigated by close contacts.
Andrew joined the White House Office of Public Liaison and Intergovernmental Affairs in 2017. According to several media reports, he appeared at his father’s press conference at the headquarters of the Republican National Committee in Washington on the 19th. At the time, Giuliani Sr. and several lawyers from the Trump campaign spoke to dozens of listeners in one room without wearing masks.
Several White House staff members have been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus in recent weeks, including White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. Reuters reported that six people in the U.S. Congress tested positive for the novel coronavirus this week.
