According to CCTV News client, in July this year, British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab announced that new sanctions will be announced for a total of 49 individuals and groups from Russia, Saudi Arabia, North Korea and Myanmar suspected of human rights violations in recent years.

Magnitsky is a lawyer for a Russian fund management company. He exposed an official corruption case involving up to $230 million. However, the lawyer was arrested for tax evasion and died in a detention center in Moscow in 2009. The death of the lawyer caused a great uproar in Russian society and also attracted the attention of Western countries.
