Florida Senator Rick Scott has tested positive for the novel coronavirus
On November 20th local time, Republican Senator Rick Scott of Florida said that he learned that he had tested positive for the coronavirus that morning.
Scott’s test was conducted Tuesday, but the results were not available until Friday, according to a release from his office.
Scott has been quarantined at home after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for the coronavirus last Friday, Scott’s office said. He will now continue to self-isolate and work from home.
Scott said he was in good condition and had only mild symptoms, and called on people to pay attention to protection.
