Turkish Ministry of Health : Purchased At least 10 million doses of Chinese Covid-19 Vaccine
November 19th Russian Satellite News Agency reported on the 19th that Turkish Health Minister Koja said on the same day that he would sign a contract with China’s Kexing Biotechnology to purchase 10 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine developed by it.
According to reports, Koca said during the parliamentary budget discussion: “We want to purchase at least 10 million doses of Chinese vaccines in December and will sign a contract within the next one or two days.”
Reuters pointed out that Koca also mentioned, “This The number is possible and can easily double”, that is 20 million doses of Chinese vaccines were purchased.
According to previous reports, Covid-19 vaccine produced by Kexing Biotechnology has launched the third phase of clinical trials in Turkey – September.
Koja said that Turkey is also negotiating with the US pharmaceutical company Pfizer, which can provide Turkey with up to 25 million doses of the Coronavirus vaccine.
He said that Turkey currently has Covid-19 vaccines under development.
