Oakland police release photos of robbers to remind Chinatown businesses to step up prevention
November 18th. According to the US “World Journal” report, a few days ago, four robberies occurred in the Chinatown of Oakland, the US, and the public was worried about the security situation.
The local police also released some photos of the robbers gangs, hoping to remind Chinatown businesses to pay attention to them and call the police if they encounter abnormal situations.
Cyril, the owner of the milk tea shop, said that the police had previously captured four people from a robbery gang and three others were at large. Police officers have sent out photos, hoping that someone will recognize the faces of the three fugitives.
The three young robbers were walking into a shop at the time and seemed to be Hispanic. Cyril said that although I don’t know when these people committed the crime, I still need to remind Chinese friends to pay more attention to the surrounding environment.
The police also reminded local Chinese that they must report to the police when they encounter crimes, so that the police can grasp crime data and trends, so as to allocate police forces and more effectively maintain public order in Chinatown.
