November 17th. The Indian and Pakistani forces clashed in Kashmir on the 13th. They accused each other of launching large-scale shelling, causing many casualties.
According to reports from The Times of India and Pakistan’s Dawn, an official of the Indian Border Security Force said on the 15th that Pakistan had fired heavy artillery during the conflict, killing 11 people in India, including 4 Indian soldiers and 1 Indian border security force.

Pakistani military officials said that on the 13th, the Indian army crossed the line of actual control and shot five civilians and one Pakistani soldier for no reason in the Kashmir area, resulting in their deaths.
In addition, at least 30 civilians and 5 soldiers were injured. Syed Shahid Mohyiddin Qadri, head of the Pakistan-controlled Kashmir region’s disaster management department, said that the Indian army had carried out the most violent shelling of the area in history,
similar to carpet bombing, which resulted in the destruction of at least 15 houses and one shop, and 24 buildings. The house and a hotel were partially damaged. In addition, about 20 cow heads and 8 sheep were killed in the shelling.
Since 2003, India and Pakistan have implemented a ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) that divides Pakistan-controlled Kashmir and India-controlled Kashmir.
However, the two sides often violate the ceasefire agreement, and both sides often accuse each other of initiating hostilities. Both countries claim full sovereignty over the disputed mountainous territory of Kashmir, but each has jurisdiction over parts of the region.
