November 16 The Russian Satellite News Agency reported on the 16th that Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan stated that he will bear the responsibility for the failure of the Asian side in the Naka region and “should face trial by the people.”
The report pointed out that Pashinyan said that the people, the military and the government need to communicate to let all parties know the details of the situation.
He said at the press conference: “I am the highest official responsible for everything that happened.
There is no doubt about this. I understand that I should face the trial of the people.
However, the people need to understand the whole process of the incident. The party, the opposition and the government started a dialogue.”
Speaking of the territorial dispute with Azerbaijan, Pashinyan said, “I tried to increase the resistance, but we failed.” He said that now it is necessary to resolve the status of the Naka region and other humanitarian issues.
However, Russian media pointed out that after the defeat in the Naka region, Pashinyan did not have any plans to resign.
On the 10th, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia signed a joint statement, deciding to stop the conflict in the Naka region.
According to the statement, the two sides will stay in their current locations and exchange prisoners, while Russian peacekeepers will be stationed in the Naka area.
Pashinyan said that hundreds of Armenian soldiers are still missing, and he hopes they can go home alive.
