18th Nov 2021 the German Permanent Vaccination Committee recommended vaccination and intensification of people over the age of 18. According to the committee’s recommendation, people over the age of 18 should be vaccinated for intensive vaccination 6 months after the second injection.
Previously, the German Permanent Vaccination Commission only recommended intensive vaccinations for people over 70 years old, patients with basic diseases, and staff of medical and nursing institutions.
On the 16th of this month, Meltens, chairman of the Permanent Vaccination Committee, said that the committee would revise its recommendations. The corresponding draft resolution will be submitted to the expert group and the federal states for consideration and adoption and final formula.
