September 17 U.S. media reported on the 16th, a recent arrival in the United States of Afghan evacuees were found to be felons, had been deported by the United States four years ago.
The evacue was convicted of aggravated robbery in 2011 and deported in 2017, Fox News reported. However, the officer somehow passed the U.S. government’s boarding review process and arrived at Washington D.C. airport in early September on an Afghan-bound flight to the United States. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) staff registered the unidentified robber and are currently in deportation proceedings.
The case is similar to that of another man from Afghanistan, Ghader Heydari, the report said. Haidari was convicted of rape in Idaho in 2010, deported in 2017 and recently returned to the United States. Haidari has been detained.
