August 24 2021 A 23-year-old Danish man, posing as someone else, returned to Denmark on an evacuation flight from Kabul, Afghanistan, and was arrested by police after landing because of his identity, Russia’s satellite news agency reported Thursday, citing Danish radio and television. It turned out that the man was a member of a Danish criminal gang and was deported from Denmark in July. The criminal gangs to which they belong are guilty, and all members have been sentenced for a cumulative period of more than 1409 years.
The man, a member of a notorious Danish criminal gang who grew up in Denmark, was reportedly jailed for five years for illegal possession of firearms and deported in July. The man managed to board a Danish evacuation flight in Kabul, Afghanistan, and mixed up the airport immigration checks under the name of his brother. But he was eventually found and arrested by Danish police.
The man claimed in court that he had boarded an evacuation plane after the Taliban entered Kabul, while his family was in Afghanistan, from where one of his brothers would recently return to Denmark. Describing his experience on his way home, he said the scene was “a mess” and “like going through hell” and asked people to help his brother return home. The man was detained for 24 days for breaching an entry order. Denmark has so far evacuated 650 people from Afghanistan.
