On the evening of August 19, local time, two Russian women were killed in goa, India, two people were 24-year-old Alessandra Regavi and 34-year-old Ekaterina Titova, the Indian Express reported Tuesday.
Mr. Regavi was found hanged in her rental apartment, a model who was promoting an Indian film. Police believe it was not a murder, but they have not found a suicide note in the apartment. In 2019, it was reported that Mr. Regavi had accused a photographer of blackmailing her and demanding improper transactions, but police officials said the case was not linked to her death.
The night before her death, Titova had been drinking late with her Fellow Russian housemates and didn’t go to bed until the early hours of the morning.
Her roommate opened Titova’s door after hearing no response on Thursday night and found Titova lying motionless in bed. Police said Titova had no injuries and the direction of the investigation still depended on the results of the autopsy.
The bodies of the two Russian women are currently at Goa Medical College, where police are awaiting the approval of the Russian Embassy for an autopsy.
