Aug. 23 (CNN) — From August 23, the United States will only allow U.S. citizens, U.S. green card holders and NATO citizens to enter Kabul airport in Afghanistan, cnn reported.
The source added that many Afghans working for NATO countries, as well as Afghans applying for special U.S. immigrant visa programs, would not be able to enter the airport.
Sources said that dozens of U.S. military transport aircraft are expected to land at Kabul airport on the 23rd, about 20,000 people remain at the airport waiting to be evacuated.
