KABUL, Aug 18 (Reuters) – The U.S. Air Force found the remains of suspected Afghan civilians on the landing gear of a C-17 military transport plane taking off from the Afghan capital Kabul on Wednesday. The plane is currently landing in Qatar and the U.S. military has stepped in to investigate.
Reported that the military aircraft took off from Kabul on the 16th, has been hundreds of Afghan people frantically chased. Afghanistan’s Aswaka news agency reported that at least three people fell from the air and died after the U.S. aircraft took off that day.
According to the U.S. Defense One website reported that the evening of the 15th, local time, when Kabul was captured by the Taliban, about 640 Afghans crowded in a U.S. military C-17 transport plane about to take off, ready to flee Kabul. Photographs showed the cabin full, crouching on the ground, most without masks, and many women and children.
