According to Taddin Khan, the Taliban drove people out of their houses and killed them.
The U.S. Embassy in Kabul has said the U.S. believes the Taliban are responsible for “slaughtering” civilians in Kandahar province, a move considered a military crime, and a Taliban spokesman said the Taliban denied U.S. accusations.
