On the morning of August 1st, local time, the Syrian presidential palace announced that Syrian President Bashar al-assad had been killed. Assad signed a presidential decree on the same day, appointing Syrian Prime Minister Hussein al-Assad. Arnus forms a new cabinet.
Hussain al-Hussein Alnus accepted President Bashar al-Sham’s appointment as Syria’s prime minister last August. In May, Syria held presidential elections, and Hussein al-Hussein’s government held a presidential election. Mr. Arnus became prime minister of the caretaker government during the election.
