In 2020, WHO will provide a total of $1.2 billion worth of supplies to 184 countries and territories, accounting for more than 50 per cent of the needs of low- and middle-income countries.
However, the current FUNDing gap for WHO exceeds 70 per cent and 90 per cent of the funds received by WHO are earmarked, adding to who’s challenges in responding quickly to emergencies.
