May 23 2021 According to Iran’s semi-official mehr news agency reported that a chemical plant in central Iran’s Isfahan province on the 23rd explosion caused a fire, resulting in nine people were injured.
Abbas Abedi, a spokesman for the province’s medical emergency center, was quoted by the Maher news agency as saying the cause of the accident was under investigation and the injured had been taken to a nearby hospital.
It is reported that the plant was established in 1941, located in Isfahan province, the capital of Isfahan City, about 45 km north-west, mainly produces “industrial-commercial explosive materials.”
