May 17 (AP) – 2021 U.S. Secretary of State Blinkin said he has not seen evidence from Israel of the activities of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip media buildings bombed by Israel.
Blinken made the remarks at a news conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, the report said. “Shortly after the attack, we did ask (Israel) for evidence to explain the need for air strikes.” Blinken declined to discuss specific intelligence content, but said he “has not seen it” and would “let others explain whether the information has been shared and the U.S. assessment of it.”
Local time on the 15th, the Gaza Strip with the Associated Press, Al Jazeera and other international media buildings were bombed by the Israeli military. Israel says Hamas used the building as a military intelligence point. The Associated Press executive editor-in-chief, Al-Busby, has previously said he saw no evidence of Israeli bombing and called for an investigation.
