Local time on the 14th, the United Democratic Party of Northern Ireland held a vote to elect the next party leader. The results are expected to be announced at 17:00 local time.
Northern Ireland’s agriculture minister, Edwin Portes, and MP Geoffrey Donaldson are running to succeed Arlene Foster in the leadership vacancy left by her resignation.
Mr Foster resigned as head of the Dup last month and will step down as chief minister at the end of June.
It is understood that this is the first time in the party’s 50-year history to hold a leadership contest.
