Local media quoted Lebanese security sources as saying that the evening of the 13th local time, the southern border area of Lebanon fired four rockets into Israel to support the Palestinian resistance to Israeli attacks on Gaza.
Lebanese military intelligence has identified the vehicle used by the attackers and arrested a suspect, who sources say is Palestinian and has not released other information.
The four rockets appeared to have targeted areas of Shlomi and Nahariya in northern Israel, with at least two of them landing on Lebanese territory, the sources said, and it was not clear where the remaining two rockets were located.
The Israeli army reportedly confirmed that three rockets had been fired from southern Lebanon, but all landed in the Mediterranean Sea, causing no casualties or material damage.
