Russian military spokesman said on april 23, the Russian and Syrian air forces launched anti-terrorism operations, a total of 338 terrorists killed, arrested 44 people, destroyed more than 80 terrorists used facilities and bunkers, successfully prevented terrorist attacks against the Syrian military and civilians.
They also found 26 weapons depots and seized more than 21.5 tons of ammunition, 7 tons of other equipment and terrorist assets, the spokesman said.
Syria’s presidential election is scheduled for May 26. Earlier, Russia has said that illegal armed groups operating in Syria are launching terrorist acts in an attempt to destabilize the country ahead of the presidential election.
