Kim Jong-un, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and state councilor of the DPRK, watched a performance by a military-owned literary and artistic group from the Korean People’s Army (KPA) Grand Union, KCNA reported Monday.
Performances include poetry readings, dramatic stories, instrumental vocals, choruses and many other programs.
Kim Jong-un said the military plays an important role in leading society and promoting patriotism with a noble culture and a high ideological and moral culture, and is an important force in the Korean revolution.
Kim Jong-un expressed his expectation and belief that the military will actively carry out mass cultural and artistic activities, so that each outpost and battlefield will be filled with revolutionary enthusiasm, enthusiasm for struggle, and vigorously encourage and promote the development of socialist civilization in Korea.
