Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an exclusive interview with RIA Novosti on April 27 local time that various government departments, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are working on a list of “unfriendly countries” in accordance with President Vladimir Putin’s instructions.
Lavrov said it was too early to say in general terms which country was on the list. In the process of making the list, the Russian side will conduct an in-depth analysis of the situation and make corresponding decisions on the basis of assessing the possibility of developing relations with other countries.
Lavrov said countries on the list of “unfriendly countries” would not be allowed to hire Russian and third-country citizens in Russia.
