An 85-year-old Italian man has been fined for violating the pandemic blockade by going out to buy spring, but he blames his vaccinations on his Coronavirus, saying the “side effects” of the vaccine have made him more “masculinity.”
The man, who did not want to be named, told Italian police that his sexual impulses had increased after he was vaccinated against Coronavirus last week. In less than an hour, police said, the man was twice fined for meeting sex workers who used motorhomes as a place of prostitution, which is common in the southern Italian city of Eboli, where he was stopped by police.
The man, who was fined 1,000 euros for two curfew violations, stunned the police, laughing and saying: “It’s all because of Coronavirus vaccine, it makes me more manly – the fine is worth it anyway.” ”
A local police spokesman said: “The man was stopped for the first time in the early hours of the morning after being seen walking into a camper van parked in the direction of the beach, which was allegedly used by sex workers. The man was told he had violated the curfew during the outbreak and was fined 500 euros before being released, but less than an hour later he was stopped in front of another camper van used by sex workers on the side of the road and fined 500 euros. ”
“Police were shocked to find out it was the second time he had been fined, and he said ‘it’s because Coronavirus vaccine made me more manly’ and ‘the value of the money spent,'” the spokesman said. His answer caused surprise and laughter among the patrol officers, but he was still fined. ”
Italians must stay at home between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., according to a curfew imposed on the outbreak, which was changed on Monday. Exceptions may be made for those who go out to work or engage in important business, or have an urgent reason.
Nearly 17 million people have been vaccinated in the country, according to the Italian Ministry of Health, and Italy has reported nearly 4 million Coronavirus cases and 119,000 deaths.
