April 27, the 104th China-Myanmar-Myanmar-Thai Mekong River Joint Patrol Law Enforcement Launch Ceremony was held at the Xishuangban Najingha Pier, and with the sound of four law enforcement boats setting sail, the 104th China-Myanmar-Myanmar-Thai Mekong River Joint Patrol Law Enforcement Operation was officially launched.
The joint patrol law enforcement is expected to last 4 days and 3 nights, a total range of more than 600 kilometers, the Quartet relevant law enforcement departments will take a combination of segmented patrols and full-line cruise to strengthen the Mekong River key waters patrol control, to ensure the safety and stability of the basin.
As the Mekong River joint patrol law enforcement China’s specific task implementation unit, this is also the Yunnan Provincial Public Security Bureau water patrol team reform after landing the first patrol.
Prior to the action, the Yunnan Provincial Public Security Bureau Water Patrol Team held a grand listing ceremony in Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna County, marking the official establishment of the Yunnan Provincial Public Security Bureau Water Patrol Team, the 10th anniversary of law enforcement and security cooperation in the Mekong River Basin towards a new journey.
