At noon local time on April 24, a bomb hit the Inva Bank in the town of Bi, Bogu province, Myanmar, and at around 15 p.m. that day, a community office in the town of Nan Ogra in Yangon, Myanmar, was hit by a bomb. There were no immediate reports of casualties in the two attacks. At noon on the same day, the northern trading city of Mujie was also attacked by arson.
In the past two months or so, grass-roots offices, banks and other facilities in several cities in Myanmar have been attacked by bombs and arson, and from 1 February to 15 April, 13 banks, 62 grass-roots offices, 63 police stations, 52 other office facilities and 63 police stations were attacked by bombs and arson.
