Shooting near an airport in the United States: At least eight people have been shot and the gunman has committed suicide

April 16 At least eight people were shot in a shooting near Indianapolis International Airport in Indiana, U.S., on Friday night, police said.

Police responded to a “mass casualty incident” at 8951 Mirabelle Road at 11 p.m. on the 15th, in which at least eight people were shot and the gunman killed himself, police spokesman Genae Cook said, CNN and Russian satellite news agency reported.

The incident took place at a FedEx facility near the airport. Police did not disclose the severity of the injuries, all of whom have been taken to hospital.
