Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation: Crimea still faces the threat of terrorist attacks

April 14th local time, Patrushev, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, said at the conference on safeguarding national security held in Sevastopol that Crimea is still facing the threat of terrorist attacks because the anti-Russian activities of the United States, NATO, as well as some EU countries and Ukraine.

Patrushev said that the ethnic and religious situation in Crimea may be complicated and there is a possibility of terrorist attacks. He pointed out that the main reason for the threat to Crimea is that the United States, NATO, some EU countries and Ukraine are engaged in destructive activities that defame Russia’s domestic and foreign policies, damage Russia’s authority and international image, and spread extremist and nationalist ideologies.
