According to the New York Post on the 11th, on the morning of March 31, local time, Hillsborough County, Florida police received a phone call saying that someone saw a “giant monster” under the car, and then police and wildlife protection officials arrived at the scene. Footage at the scene showed that after several men sealed the mouth of the big crocodile with tape, at least three people carried it up to the back of a truck.
Local police released the live video on social media, saying, “This is not a small crocodile. It is 10 feet 2 inches long (contract 3 meters).” Police said that the crocodile was then safely dragged to a nearby crocodile farm.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said that the arrival of spring mating season may be the cause of the unexpected appearance of crocodiles, while warning that the possibility of such reptiles will be greatly increased in the near future and that males will become more aggressive.
