Iran held an online commemoration of nuclear technology day on the 10th. Screens broadcast by Iranian state television show that Iranian President Rouhani issued an order via video link to inject uranium gas into 164 IR-6 centrifuges at the Natanz nuclear facility and the first phase of gas injection to 30 IR-6S centrifuges.
Iran also announced that the IR-9 centrifuges under development in the country have entered the mechanical testing stage. At the event of the day, Iran launched 133 of its achievements in the field of nuclear technology.
Iranian news television quoted Rouhani as saying that the IR-6 centrifuge produces enriched uranium 10 times more efficiently than the first generation IR-1, and the IR-9 production efficiency is more than 50 times that of the IR-1. Rouhani stressed: “One of the achievements of the Iran nuclear agreement is that it confirms the legitimacy of Iran’s nuclear technology and industry. All our nuclear activities are for peaceful purposes, not military purposes.”
Some analysts believe that at the critical stage of the negotiations to revitalize the Iran nuclear agreement, Iran unveiled more than 100 nuclear technology achievements, which shows that Iran has still achieved rapid development in the field of science and technology under the severe sanctions imposed by the United States;
On the other hand, it sends a serious signal to the United States that if the United States does not immediately lift the sanctions imposed on Iran after its withdrawal from the Iran nuclear agreement, Iran will continue to develop its peaceful nuclear program in accordance with national needs.

Representatives of the United States and Iran exchanged views indirectly and commented positively on the progress of the talks. Nevertheless, the talks still face a lot of resistance.

Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif left a message on social media on the 9th, “All Trump administration sanctions violate the comprehensive agreement on Iran’s nuclear issue and must be lifted, regardless of the name of the sanctions.”
A senior U.S. State Department official who asked not to be named said that the biggest obstacle to the outcome of the Vienna Conference is not which side of Iran and the United States took the lead in restoring compliance, but Iran’s adherence to the United States’ lifting of all sanctions against Iran since 2017, which will “stalemate” between the United States and Iran.
In the view of this official, some of the sanctions imposed by the Trump administration are “legitimate”. The United States has informed Iran which sanctions will be lifted and which sanctions will be retained if Iran returns to the agreement.
