After entering Thailand through Phuket, people with COVID-19 vaccination certificates and COVID-19 negative certificates must be quarantined in local hotels for 7 days, and those who have not been vaccinated must be quarantined for 10 days.
This is the first international flight to Phuket in more than a year since international flights have been suspended due to the epidemic. The next flight is scheduled to open on the 7th of this month.
According to the above timetable, foreign tourists with coronavirus vaccination certificates from July 1 will be exempted from quarantine observation, provided that more than 70% of the island’s population (about 300,000 people) have completed two doses of coronavirus vaccine to form herd immunity. In order to achieve this goal as soon as possible, Phuket Province calls on all people to actively vaccinate.
At present, the Thai government has allocated about 100,000 doses of vaccine to Phuket Province, and is vaccinated at a rate of 3,000 to 4,000 people per day.
