The number of new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in a single day has dropped significantly worldwide.

According to statistics from Hopkins University in the United States, on February 22, the number of new confirmed cases of COVID-19 worldwide was 287,000, which is the lowest since October last year.

The United States added 54,400 cases on the latest day, which is much lower than in November and December last year, where the average daily number of infections in the United States was about 200,000 and 250,000, respectively.
