February 20, local time, according to local media reports, there were two new confirmed cases of Ebola in North Kivu Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, one in Biena and the other in Katwa.
As of the 20th, the Democratic Republic of the Congo has confirmed a total of six cases of Ebola, two of which are medical personnel.
At present, the Democratic Republic of the Congo Ministry of Health and partners such as the World Health Organization and the United Nations Children’s Fund have deployed working groups on the ground to repair Ebola treatment centers and work to improve the ability to track contacts of confirmed cases of Ebola.
Meanwhile, to facilitate vaccination arrangements, the task force carried out advocacy on Ebola prevention and control efforts to avoid some misinformation that negatively affects the local population.
