Navalny’s lawyer said that he would be released from prison from late July to early August 2023.
Navalny is a well-known Russian opposition figure. He has been sentenced for fraud and money laundering, and has been suspended until the end of December 2020.
In January 2021, the Russian Federal Prison Service said that Navalny violated probation regulations on many occasions during 2020.
Navalny, who returned to Russia on January 17, 2021, was arrested at Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow.
