According to the Russian Sputnik News Agency on February 20, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova said that in the first half of this year, the total production of coronavirus vaccine will reach 88 million doses, including 83 million doses of the “Sputnik V” vaccine.
Golikova said at the COVID-19 vaccine conference, “88 million doses are planned to be produced in the first half of this year, including 83 million doses of the ‘Sputnik V’ vaccine and 5.4 million doses of the ‘EpiVacCorona’ vaccine.”
Golikova said that about 45% of the elderly over 60 in Russia have been vaccinated against the novel coronavirus.
“We think it’s not enough,” she said. “We hope regions will further increase vaccination rates.”
