Spanish protest singer arrested for four days. Demonstrators burned roadblocks and destroyed buildings.

February 19th, local time, the protest demonstration in Catalonia, Spain, in solidarity with arrested rapper Pablo Hasel, entered its fourth day, and protests broke out in many cities in Catalonia.

Police in Catalonia reported that in Girona, protest groups smashed the windows of two bank offices in the city.

In Barcelona, the capital of the region, a group of masked men smashed the bank window and ransacked the bank while trying to set the bank on fire.

In addition, demonstrators set fire to roadblocks and threw debris at guards in some neighborhoods in Barcelona.

Police asked citizens not to approach these blocks.

The Catalan ombudsman urged Spanish and European authorities to act quickly on the arrest of rapper Hassel.
