February 19th Buckingham Palace issued a statement saying that it had been confirmed that the Harrys would no longer work as members of the royal family and that Harry would lose all honorary ranks.
According to the BBC on the 19th, the Harrys announced earlier in 2020 that they would no longer work as full-time royals and agreed to reassess the decision a year later.
Queen Elizabeth II will also take back all honorary ranks from Harry, including the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Marine Corps, and award them to his royal family.

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reported on February 19 that Buckingham Palace said that Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, would no longer work as a member of the royal family.
The Queen confirmed that the couple would not “continue to assume the responsibilities and obligations arising from public service life, and that the honorary military appointment and royal asylum of the two will return to the Queen”.
