According to the Russian News Agency, on February 17, local time, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Riabkov said in an interview with the media: “If Washington does not give up its hostile pressure policy on Moscow, Russia may turn to actively curb the United States.”
Riabkov said: “We will not give up the constructive agenda of relations with the United States, but we cannot implement it alone.
If U.S. policies remain unchanged, or still use pressure as the main means that we will implement policies to actively contain the United States in various fields.
Riabkov said: “The policy of curbing the United States will include boycotting sanctions and the United States’ attempts to influence Russia’s internal affairs.
Moscow will also send a signal to the international community that the multipolar world is not an abstract concept, it is used as a substitute for American hegemony, and it can unite forces in the international community against American diplomacy and information aggression.”
