The Indonesian Cabinet Secretariat issued a statement on the 17th that Indonesia launched the first phase of large-scale vaccination on January 14 this year, mainly for health workers, and so far the vaccination of 1.46 million medical workers has been completed.
The second phase of vaccination began nationwide on the 17th. 16.9 million public service personnel participated in the vaccination, including civil servants, military police, vendors, journalists, athletes, etc.

According to the data released by the Ministry of Health of Indonesia, 10% of all confirmed cases in Indonesia, the number of elderly over 60 years old accounts for 10%, but the proportion of all deaths is as high as 50%.
According to the coronavirus data released by Indonesia’s National Disaster Relief Agency on the 17th, the number of confirmed cases in the country increased by 9,687 compared with the previous day, with a total of 1243,646 confirmed cases, 33,788 deaths and 1,047,676 cured cases.
According to the data, of all provincial administrative regions, Jakarta has reported the largest number of confirmed cases, with a total of 32,738 confirmed cases and a total of 5,057 deaths; East Java Province has reported the largest number of deaths, with a total of 8,702 deaths and a total of 123,860 confirmed cases.
