“Opportunity waiting every year”

Badr’s products focus on the concept of pure naturalness. He said: “Given the large scale of Chinese consumers and their admiration for naturalness, China is one of our most important markets.”

In the previous two CIIEs, Badr benefited a lot. He said that at the second CIIE, his products were favored by a beauty industry practitioner from Hong Kong, China, and he successfully entered the Hong Kong market.

Badr said that the “Belt and Road” construction has brought development opportunities to enterprises. In the past four years, his company has exported an average of five or six container products to China each year, each of which is worth between US$50,000 and US$75,000. Today, he has multiple distribution channels in China such as agents, sub-agents, and free distributors, and “exports to China have been increasing.”

“A big platform to display products”

Recently, Alfaf Rice has frequently contacted colleagues far away in China to set up the corporate booth for the CIIE. Rice is the trade director of IntelCare, a Moroccan cosmetics company, which uses Moroccan specialty argan oil as raw materials to produce skin care products, hairdressing products, handmade soaps and essential oils.

Having participated in two consecutive CIIEs before, Rice is no stranger to CIIEs. Speaking of her own “Expo Fate”, Rice still remembers: “At the CIIE, distributors, industry experts and users and other cosmetics market participants gathered together to communicate. This atmosphere is very conducive to expanding new customers. , Competing on the same stage with other international cosmetics companies will help to study and judge market trends and optimize and adjust product lines.”

During the first two CIIEs, IntelCare signed a letter of intent with some distributors, and through exchanges with Chinese distributors, it deepened its understanding of the Chinese customer base and adjusted its supply strategy for the Chinese market.

In January this year, IntelCare became the first company in Morocco to sign a contract for participation in the third CIIE. In order to impress customers, Rice and her colleagues expanded the booth area based on the previous two exhibitions, redesigned the product packaging, and brought the latest products.

“The CIIE provides a large platform for companies to display their products.” She said that through the CIIE, she expects that Chinese consumers will understand their brands and find long-term partners for companies.

Suhti’an said that the company will display its brands of anti-epidemic cleaning products at the CIIE. She said that despite the existence of similar competing products in the Chinese market, differentiated competition can still bring business opportunities to companies.

“China has a vast market space and diversified consumer needs. Our products focus on quality and user experience, and have long been a leader in Jordan and the Middle East. We can certainly meet the needs of some Chinese consumers and bring them a different experience. .” Sukhtian said.

In Sukhtian’s view, the CIIE is a two-way platform, not only a valuable opportunity for product display and zero-distance contact with the Chinese market, but also for her to look forward to discovering Chinese products suitable for introduction into the Jordanian market.

Looking forward to the future, Suhtian is optimistic about the prospects of China’s economic development and firmly believes that the Chinese market contains huge opportunities. She expressed that she looked forward to the continuous deepening of cooperation between Jordan and China and that Jordanian companies could become long-term participants in the Chinese market.

Miri Rashvili said Watkin is already an “old friend” of the CIIE. At the last CIIE, Watkin attracted more than 200 interested companies for cooperation and negotiation.
