February 16th – According to a Russian Sputnik news agency, an Indian bus from Sidhi to Satna, Madhya Pradesh, crashed into the canal on the 16th, killing 38 people and missing dozens of people.
The incident occurred at about 7 a.m. local time on February 16, and the bus carried a total of 54 passengers.
According to local villagers, it seems that after the driver lost control of the car, the bus crashed into a canal 30 feet deep.
At present, rescue operations are under way. The crashed bus has been salvaged from the water, and many passengers are still missing.
